YAK-54
Technical specifications

The Yak-54 two-seat sport and acrobatic aircraft can be used in acrobatic flight training and in competition. The aircraft is intended to fly by VFR rules, day, and by IFR rules, day, with radio communication in the 118 – 137 MHz range.

The Yak-54 is an all-metal monoplane with semi-monocoque fuselage and mid-wind configuration, non-retractable spring landing gear with a tail wheel and trapezoidal tail unit.

The aircraft is powered by an M-14X four-cycle, air-conditioned, nine-cylinder engine, with an “MTV-9” model three-blade variable-pitch propeller.

Customers can request installation of a ÁÓÐ-4Ì flight data recording system on each aircraft, which records and stores flight data on a ÁÊ-4 easy-to-remove tape cassette.

Flight data are processed by an 11Ó13-4 operative decoding system, or ground processing system on an IBM PC.
The ÁÓÐ-4Ì can be switched on either manually or automatically.

On the Customer request the aircraft can be equipped with:

Encoding altimeter KEA 130A;
Air traffic control transponder KT 76A;
GPS system/comm KLX 135 (satellite navigation/communication system);
Speed indicator P/N 8025.
